Overview

An armor plate is a taller plate that protects the lower part of a door from carts, stretchers and equipment pushed through it. This 30in tall x 30in wide armor plate is made from clear polycarbonate (Lexan) with a clear finish and radius corners. Order it pre-drilled with factory-supplied #8 x 1 1/8in stainless steel screws. It is for interior use only. TheKickPlateStore covers it with a 10-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship.

30in x 30in - .040, Surface mounted polycarbonate (Lexan) kick plate with radius corners (762mm x 762mm).

Use construction adhesive for standard installation. Available pre-drilled for use with mechanical fasteners. Custom sizes are available.

Materials

  • Polycarbonate: Type Polycarbonate, .040 gauge, with a Clear finish.
  • Adhesive: Polyurethane based construction adhesive.

Number of Holes: 12: 4 on Top, 4 on the Bottom, 2 on Each Side

Holes are evenly spaced around all four sides, approx. 1" - 1.5" from the edges.

NOTE: Interior & Exterior Use

  • The materials specified for interior use: Brass, Vinyl, Polycarbonate, and Un-Anodized Aluminum, are not designed or warranted for exterior applications.
  • Only Stainless Steel, Diamond Plate, and Anodized Aluminum are recommended for both indoor and outdoor use, as they are engineered to withstand external environmental conditions.
  • Improper use of interior-grade materials in exterior settings may result in premature wear, damage, or failure.
