This 8in x 40in lifetime polished brass kick plate protects the bottom of a door from shoes, carts, strollers and luggage, the scuffs and dents that wear doors out first. It's made from .050in stainless steel with a bright polished-brass PVD coating applied in a vacuum chamber. The 40in width suits doors about 42in wide, leaving roughly an inch of door showing on each side, and the 8in height covers the kick zone at the bottom of the door.
